YOSHIMURA offers this power valve for HONDA CRF 250, CRF 250 X, CRF 450 X, YAMAHA YFM 700 RAPTOR 2WD, YFZ 450, YXM 700 VIKING 4WD, YXM 700 VIKING CAMO 4WD, YXM 700 VIKING EPS 4WD, KAWASAKI KFX 450 and POLARIS RZR 900 XP, RZR 900 XP4 2004-2020. Many two-stroke engines have an exhaust power valve: a blade that changes the height of the exhaust port according to revs.

      Why replace this part?

      The benefits:

      • An engine that pulls low down and up top again.
      • Replace a worn, sticking or broken part.
      • Precise valve operation at all revs.

      Why choose YOSHIMURA?

Founded in Japan in 1954 by Hideo 'Pops' Yoshimura, the brand won the very first Suzuka 8 Hours in 1978. Its American branch, based in California since 1971, has collected more than 30 AMA, WORCS and GNCC titles since 1999.

When should you replace this part?

A scored or oval cylinder, or one with damaged plating, loses compression and wears the piston quickly. Measure the bore at every top-end rebuild: beyond the wear limit the cylinder must be replaced or resleeved.

Cross-Mania tip: Check the diameter of the supplied or required piston and replace the top-end gaskets. A big bore may require carburation or fuel-injection adjustment.
