The helmet is the rider’s most important protection: the shell spreads the impact and the inner foam absorbs it to protect the head in a crash.

TROY LEE DESIGNS GP Pro Mips Youth Helmet Slides - Black/Yellow: a motocross helmet has a peak and a wide eye port to wear goggles.
Why choose this helmet?
Key features:
- Technologically advanced polyacrylite shell construction
- Mips® Rotational Impact Brain Protection System
- Three shell sizes to more accurately fit a variety of head sizes and rider ages
- Anatomical 3D contoured cheek pads with emergency release system for EMS responders
- Plastic visor screws and brass inserts
Why choose TROY LEE DESIGNS?
Founded in 1981 in Corona, California, around custom helmet painting, Troy Lee Designs makes the SE5, with a carbon or composite shell and the in-molded MIPS Integra rotational protection system.
When should you replace this helmet?
After any crash in which the helmet took a hit, even with no visible mark: crushed inner foam no longer protects. Otherwise allow about 5 years of use, as the foams and shell age; replace it sooner if it moves on your head.
