Genuine replacement visor, colourway Core black: fits the TROY LEE DESIGNS SE5 helmet and shields you from sun and roost.
The TROY LEE DESIGNS SE5 Visor is a genuine replacement visor designed for the TROY LEE DESIGNS SE5 helmet, in the Core black colourway.
In motocross and enduro, the visor is often the first thing to hit the ground in a crash: it cracks, bends or loses a mounting point. Replacing it restores sun and roost protection, and the helmet's original look.
TROY LEE DESIGNS was founded in 1981 in California by Troy Lee, who hand-painted the helmets of his motocross racer friends. Today, the brand's meticulous design and technical materials kit out riders all over the world.
Check that the visor matches the TROY LEE DESIGNS SE5 helmet and, if a size is listed, your helmet size. Tighten the screws by hand without forcing them, then check them again after the first few rides. Once fitted, it should neither touch your goggles nor cut into your field of view in the riding position.
Should I replace the screws at the same time?
If they are bent, seized or their heads are damaged, yes: screws in good condition hold the new visor properly. Otherwise, the original screws can be reused.
Why do visors break so often?
It's the part that sticks out furthest from the helmet: in a crash or against a branch, it takes the hit first. With a spare visor ready, a broken one won't cost you a ride.
