The RACETECH R20 Lock-On Half-Waffle R-MPRRFBETA21 pair of grips is designed for BETA RR 125, RR 250, RR 300, RR 350, RR 390, RR 430, RR 480 from 2012 to 2026. A soft compound for grip and comfort, a firmer one for durability: the right grips really change the feel at the bars.

When to replace it?

• Rubber worn smooth, torn or dug out by your gloves.
• Grip that turns on the handlebar or the throttle tube.
• Blisters, or arm pump that sets in quickly.

Replace them as soon as the pattern is worn or the rubber starts to tear. Check the inside diameter (22 mm on the clutch side, 25 mm on the throttle side as a rule) and the fitting type: glue-on, or Lock-On with clamps.

Fitting tips

1. Remove the old grips and clean the handlebar and the throttle tube.
2. For a glue-on grip, use a dedicated grip glue and let it dry before riding; a Lock-On grip is simply tightened with its clamps.
3. Leave a small gap between the throttle grip and the handguard or the switch housing: the throttle must return on its own.
4. Safety-wire the grips at the bar end if you race.

Lock-On or glue-on?
Lock-On grips go on and come off in a few minutes, with no glue, but you need a compatible throttle tube. Glue-on grips suit any handlebar.
