Choosing the colour

Every colour gives the same protection: pick the one that goes with your bike's graphics.

Who is it for?

You ride in the woods, enduro or hard enduro, where knocks to the hands are frequent.
You often break levers in crashes.
You want to protect your hands from roost and the cold.

Good to know

Check the mounting type (universal on the handlebar, or specific to the bike and the master cylinder) and whether the mounting kit is included: some models are sold without it, so you can keep your current mounts.

Fitting tips

Position the mounts on the handlebar and, for an aluminium backbone, at the bar end (expander or end fitting supplied).
Adjust the angle of the shields so that they touch neither the levers nor the cables at full lock.
Tighten to torque without crushing the controls, and check that the levers can travel all the way.

Why RACETECH?

The brand has supplied the plastics for Mitch Payton's Pro Circuit Kawasaki team, one of the most successful teams in AMA Supercross, as well as for the Beta Offroad Factory team. Its Worx chain guide is a one-piece design fitted with a removable, self-lubricating TPU internal wear pad.

Frequently asked questions

Open or with a backbone?
Open handguards (shield only) stop roost. Models with an aluminium backbone, mounted at both ends, also protect against impacts and crashes: they're the enduro choice.
