ATHENA inner Clutch Cover Gasket for GAS GAS EC 125 2001-2014

The ATHENA S410155008001 clutch cover gasket is designed for GAS GAS EC 125 from 2001 to 2014. The clutch cover gasket seals between the engine and the clutch cover, on the right-hand side, where the clutch runs in oil. It is replaced every time the cover is opened, for example to change the plates.

When to replace it?

• Oil seeping around the clutch cover.
• Gasket torn, hardened or stuck on removal.

Every time the clutch cover comes off: changing the plates or springs, work on the clutch basket or, depending on the model, the water pump.

Fitting tips

1. Drain the oil if the cover sits below the oil level.
2. Clean the gasket faces without scratching them and fit the gasket dry.
3. Tighten the screws in a criss-cross pattern to the manufacturer's torque.
4. Refill with fresh gearbox oil and check the level.
