Every time the clutch cover comes off: changing the plates or springs, work on the clutch basket or, depending on the model, the water pump.
Fitting tips
- Drain the oil if the cover sits below the oil level.
- Clean the gasket faces without scratching them and fit the gasket dry.
- Tighten the screws in a criss-cross pattern to the manufacturer's torque.
- Refill with fresh gearbox oil and check the level.
