MOTION PRO T3 Slidelight Clutch Cable

The MOTION PRO 02-3002 clutch cable. The clutch cable transmits the effort from the lever to the clutch. Off-road, it gets worked hard: a new cable makes the lever light and the engagement point consistent, and won't let you down in the middle of a ride.

When to replace it?

• Lever that gets heavy or snags.
• Frayed strands near the end fitting, damaged outer sheath.
• Engagement point that changes from one ride to the next.

Replace it at the first broken strand: a snapped cable leaves you with no clutch.

Fitting tips

1. Slacken the adjuster and unhook the old cable at both ends.
2. Route the new cable the same way, with no tight bends.
3. Grease the ends with a suitable grease.
4. Set the lever free play as per the manual.
