VENHILL Throttle + Clutch Cable - Repair Kit

VENHILL offers this throttle cable. When you twist the grip, the pull cable opens the carburettor or the injection throttle: the engine gets more air and fuel and speeds up.

Why replace the throttle cable?

The benefits:

• A grip that turns smoothly and snaps back on its own.
• Precise throttle response that is easy to control.
• A new cable removes the risk of the throttle staying open.

Why choose VENHILL?

Venhill was founded in 1970 in Dorking, England, by trials and motocross rider Chris Ventris; its cables and hoses are made in-house, and every Powerhose line (stainless braid, minimum burst pressure 12,000 psi) is pressure-tested under water before dispatch.

When should you replace the cable?

Broken strands, a crushed outer or a throttle that is slow to return: the cable needs changing.

Specifications and fitting tips

• Corrosion-free 303 stainless steel swivel unions allow perfect twist-free alignment.
• Dome-head banjo bolts for clean look and work easier on cramped modern machines.
• Manufacturer part number: VWK001

Cross-Mania tip: Follow the original routing, lubricate the cable and set the free play: the throttle must snap shut on its own with the bars on full lock both ways.
