The plastic guards fitted at the bottom of the fork that protect the fork tubes from stones.
POLISPORT offers these fork guards for YAMAHA YZ 125, YZ 250 1993-1995. A fork is made of two tubes that slide into each other; the sliding tube runs close to the front wheel and takes the stones it throws up.
Why fit fork guards?
The benefits:
- Tubes that stay smooth: the fork seals last longer.
- Fewer fork leaks, so fewer unplanned repairs.
- Replace broken guards for a clean, well-protected bike.
Why choose POLISPORT?
Polisport, the Portuguese manufacturer founded in 1978 and original-equipment supplier to KTM and Husqvarna: a polyamide guard that shrugs off stones and heat.
When should you replace this part?
Guards that are cracked, broken or with failed mountings: replace them before a tube gets hit.
