The KYB bleu (tige Ø12.5 mm) KYB-3001002 fork cartridge rod seal is designed for YAMAHA YZ 125, YZ 250, YZF 250, YZF 450 and KAWASAKI KX 250, KXF 450 from 2005 to 2008. In a cartridge fork, the damping happens inside a closed tube in which a piston rod slides. This seal keeps the oil in around the rod: once it wears, oil gets past and the damping loses effectiveness and consistency.

- Reassemble with fresh fork oil and carefully bleed the air out of the cartridge.
