CENTAURO Top End Gasket Set for YAMAHA IT 490, YZ 490 1982-1984

CENTAURO offers this top-end gasket kit for YAMAHA IT 490, YZ 490 1982-1984. The top end is the cylinder, piston and cylinder head. When they are taken apart, the gaskets sealing them are crushed and cannot be reused.

Why buy a complete kit?

The benefits:

• Every top-end gasket in one part number: nothing is forgotten at reassembly.
• Cheaper than buying the gaskets one by one.
• New gaskets guarantee compression and sealing against water, oil and gases.

Why choose CENTAURO?

Centauro has made gaskets in Italy since 1958, for original equipment and the aftermarket alike, with ISO 9001-certified production.

When should you replace the gaskets on your YAMAHA IT 490?

An oil or coolant leak, seepage around the cases or a loss of compression signal a tired gasket. Having the kit to hand means the bike is never stuck waiting for one missing gasket.

No manufacturer hour figure for this model. Cross-Mania guideline: compression check every 20 h in hard use and every 40 h for leisure.
