The gasket between cylinder and crankcase, essential when refitting the cylinder.
PROX offers this cylinder base gasket for YAMAHA YZ 125, YZ 125 X from 2022 to 2027. The base gasket seals the bottom of the cylinder. Its thickness matters: it sets the cylinder height, and so the compression ratio and, on a 2-stroke, the port timing.
Why replace this gasket every time it is removed?
The benefits:
- A new gasket guarantees a perfectly sealed joint.
- Material designed to withstand heat, oil and coolant.
- An inexpensive part that saves doing the job twice.
Why choose PROX?
ProX, the Dutch engine-parts specialist since 1975, has its parts made in factories that also supply the manufacturers: OEM quality at a more affordable price.
When should you replace the gasket on your YAMAHA YZ 125?
An oil or coolant leak, seepage around the cases or a loss of compression signal a tired gasket. Having the kit to hand means the bike is never stuck waiting for one missing gasket.
