The ATHENA S410270015021 spark plug tube seal is designed for KTM EXC 150, SX 125, XC 125, XCW 150, HUSQVARNA TC 125, TE 150 and GAS GAS MC 125 from 2020 to 2025. On a four-stroke, the spark plug sits at the bottom of a tube that passes through the valve cover. This seal closes off the tube on the valve train side: if it leaks, oil fills the tube and can cause misfires.

When to replace it?

• Oil at the bottom of the spark plug tube or on the plug cap.
• Misfiring, engine coughing.

As soon as oil appears in the spark plug tube, and when replacing the valve cover gasket.

Fitting tips

1. Remove the valve cover and clean out the tube.
2. Fit the new seal properly in place, without pinching it.
3. Refit with a valve cover gasket in good condition and a clean spark plug.
