      COMETIC offers this top-end gasket kit for KTM SX 250, SX 300, XC-W 250 TBI, HUSQVARNA TC 250 and GAS GAS MC 250 from 2023 to 2027. The top end is the cylinder, piston and cylinder head. When they are taken apart, the gaskets sealing them are crushed and cannot be reused.

      An oil or coolant leak, seepage around the cases or a loss of compression signal a tired gasket. Having the kit to hand means the bike is never stuck waiting for one missing gasket.

      Recommended hours for a top-end rebuild (manufacturer recommendation for the KTM SX, Husqvarna TC, GASGAS MC two-strokes since 2023):

      • Racing: every 45 h.
      • Leisure: no KTM figure; Cross-Mania guideline: compression check at around 90 h.
      • Riding in sand: every 10 h.
      • KTM EXC, Husqvarna TE, GASGAS EC two-strokes since 2024: racing and leisure: every 45 h.
