The kit containing every gasket needed to strip and rebuild the top end (cylinder and head) without leaks.
TECNIUM offers this top-end gasket kit for HONDA CRF 450 2002-2006. The top end is the cylinder, piston and cylinder head. When they are taken apart, the gaskets sealing them are crushed and cannot be reused.
Why buy a complete kit?
The benefits:
- Every top-end gasket in one part number: nothing is forgotten at reassembly.
- Cheaper than buying the gaskets one by one.
- New gaskets guarantee compression and sealing against water, oil and gases.
When should you replace the gaskets on your HONDA CRF 450?
An oil or coolant leak, seepage around the cases or a loss of compression signal a tired gasket. Having the kit to hand means the bike is never stuck waiting for one missing gasket.
Recommended hours for a top-end rebuild (manufacturer recommendation for the Honda CRF R / RX / X):
- Racing: every 15 h (about 6 races).
- Leisure: no Honda figure; Cross-Mania guideline: compression check at around 30 h.
