The cap that closes the opening used to fill the engine or gearbox oil.

SCAR offers this oil filler cap for KAWASAKI KLX 450 R, KX 250, KX 250 F, KX 250 X, KX 450, KX 450 F and SUZUKI RM-Z 250 from 2004 to 2026. The filler cap, often with an O-ring, closes the case. Being exposed, it is easily lost or damaged; anodised aluminium versions also personalise the bike.

Why replace it?

The benefits:

Replace a lost, broken or leaking cap.
Personalise the bike with a sturdier part.

Why choose SCAR?

SCAR, a French brand from Brittany: plugs and screws machined from solid anodised aluminium, built to last.

When should you replace this part?

A plug that leaks despite a new washer, a damaged thread or a rounded head: time to replace it before the crankcase gets damaged.

Specifications and fitting tips

Material: Aluminium
Replaces the stock plug with no modification
Improves crankcase sealing

Cross-Mania tip: Replace the sealing washer at every oil change and do not overtighten: aluminium cases do not forgive it.
