MOTUL offers this grease. A grease is a thickened oil: instead of running off, it stays where you put it. It is used wherever oil would not stay in place: wheel and swingarm spindles, steering and wheel bearings, suspension linkage, lever and pedal pivots.
Why grease your bike regularly?
The benefits:
- Bearings and linkage turn freely: the suspension and steering work better.
- Grease keeps water out and stops rust seizing the spindles, which then come out without force.
- Well-greased parts wear more slowly: bearings and bushes last longer.
When should you replace this part?
Re-grease spindles, linkage and steering at the intervals in the manual, more often if you pressure-wash a lot or ride in mud and sand.
