AFAM offers this rear sprocket for YAMAHA XG 250 TRICKER 2005. The rear sprocket receives the engine’s power through the chain and turns the rear wheel. Its number of teeth sets the gearing: with more teeth the bike accelerates harder but has a lower top speed; with fewer teeth it is the other way round.
The benefits:
Pointed, hooked or uneven teeth, or a chain that lifts easily off the back of the sprocket: the chain kit needs replacing.
Cross-Mania tip: Replace the rear sprocket, front sprocket and chain together, tighten the sprocket bolts in a cross pattern with threadlocker and set the chain slack to the manual.
