The crankshaft turns the piston’s up-and-down motion into rotation: supplied complete, ready to fit.
VHM offers this complete crankshaft for HUSQVARNA TC 125, KTM SX 125 and GAS GAS MC 125 2023-2025. The crankshaft is the engine’s main shaft: the rod turns it and it drives the clutch and gearbox.
Why a complete crankshaft?
The benefits:
- Ready to fit, no specialist needed to press in a rod.
- Bottom end renewed in one go.
- Often cheaper than rebuilding a badly worn crank.
When should you replace the crankshaft on your HUSQVARNA TC 125?
Unusual vibration, a deep knock that follows engine speed or play in the con-rod: the bottom end needs a rebuild.
The manufacturer publishes no hour interval for this model: have the con-rod play checked at every piston change. Cross-Mania guideline: rebuild the bottom end every 2 to 3 top-end rebuilds.
