HOT RODS offers this connecting rod kit for KTM SX-F 250, XC-F 250, HUSQVARNA FC 250 and GAS GAS EC 250 F, MC 250 F from 2016 to 2023. The rod passes the piston’s motion to the crankshaft. Its big-end bearing spins at very high revs and eventually develops play.

Recommended hours for a bottom-end rebuild (manufacturer recommendation for the KTM SX-F, Husqvarna FC 2016-2022):

• Racing: every 100 h.
• Leisure: no KTM figure; have the wear checked at every top-end rebuild.
• KTM EXC-F, Husqvarna FE 2017-2023: racing: every 70 h.
