Linkage bearings let the rear suspension work smoothly: with no play, the shock follows the ground.
PIVOT WORKS linkage bearing kit for SUZUKI RM 125, RM 250 from 1998 to 1999.
On SUZUKI RM 125, RM 250 from 1998 to 1999, the PIVOT WORKS PWLKS07021 linkage bearing kit fits in place of the original part. The linkage connects the swingarm to the shock and sets the progression of the suspension. When its bearings are worn, the rear loses suppleness and traction: this kit rebuilds the complete linkage.
Your bike's service manual gives the exact interval. As a Cross-Mania guideline: strip, clean and grease every 20 to 30 hours of racing or after very muddy rides, once a season for leisure riding; replace as soon as play or a tight spot appears.
Pivot Works specialises in chassis rebuild kits for off-road bikes and quads: bearings, seals, bushings and spacers grouped by model. The brand claims original-equipment quality, durability and fit, and since 2012 has offered a lifetime replacement of its kits in case of failure (once per kit).
Are the bolts supplied?
The kit contains the model's bearings, seals and wear bushings; the bolts and hardware stay original if they are not marked. Compare with the photo if in doubt.
Which grease should I use?
A thick, water-resistant grease, applied generously: it protects the needles from mud.
