PROX Linkage Bearing Kit for KAWASAKI KX 125, KX 250, KXF 250 and SUZUKI RMZ 250 2004-2008

The PROX 26.110117 linkage bearing kit is designed for KAWASAKI KX 125, KX 250, KXF 250 and SUZUKI RMZ 250 from 2004 to 2008. The linkage connects the swingarm to the shock and works on every bump. Its needle bearings are exposed to water and mud: seized or rusty, they hold back the rear suspension and make the rear end harsh and vague.

When to replace it?

• Play at the rear when you lift the rear wheel.
• Rear suspension that is harsh or squeaks.
• Rusty needles, marked sleeves or black grease when opened.

Take the linkage apart, clean it and grease it regularly, especially after rides in water or mud, and replace the bearings as soon as they bind or have play.

Fitting tips

1. Support the bike with the rear wheel off the ground and remove the linkage.
2. Press out the old bearings, or pull them out with a puller, without damaging the bores.
3. Press in the new bearings, straight, then fit the seals and the sleeves packed with waterproof grease.
4. Refit the linkage and tighten the pivot bolts to the manual's torque.
