On SUZUKI RMZ 250, RMZ 450 from 2018 to 2027, the RACETECH plastic kit fits in place of the original part. Plastics take a beating: branches, stones, crashes and pressure washing. A complete kit replaces them all in one go, shaped like the originals so they use the bike's existing mounting points.
All colours have the same shape and the same mounting points: pick the one that matches your bike (OEM colours) or your graphics.
Check the number of pieces and the list of items supplied: depending on the kit, the air box cover, fork guards or headlight mask are included or not. The bike's model year matters: plastics often change shape from one year to the next.
Racetech, now also sold under the Rtech name, is an Italian brand launched in 2002 by Cristian Mittone, a former professional enduro rider, and based in Premariacco, near Udine. Its catalogue runs to more than 5,000 parts in plastic, aluminium and rubber, from plastic kits to handguards and chain guides.
Can the original decals be stuck back on?
They can rarely be reused once peeled off. The shapes of replica plastics follow the originals, so you can fit a graphics kit made for your bike.
Do I need new bolts?
The original hardware can be refitted if it is in good condition. New hardware saves you from forcing on damaged heads.
