TECNIUM Cylinder Kit + Cylinder Head for YAMAHA PW 80 1986-2011

TECNIUM offers this cylinder kit for YAMAHA PW 80 1986-2011. The cylinder kit groups a cylinder and the parts to fit it (piston, rings, gaskets depending on the kit: see contents). “Big bore” kits increase the bore and therefore the displacement: the engine gains torque and power.

Why buy a cylinder kit?

The benefits:

• A cylinder and its matched piston: perfect fitting clearance.
• One order to rebuild the top end.
• Big bore versions give more torque and power (check the rules if you race).

When should you replace the cylinder on your YAMAHA PW 80?

Harder starting, loss of power, blue smoke, oil consumption or a knock when cold: these are the signs of a tired top end.

No manufacturer hour figure for this model. Cross-Mania guideline: compression check every 15 h in hard use and every 30 h for leisure.
