VERTEX offers you this BIG BORE kit in 300cc Ø85mm for your HONDA CRF 250cc 4-stroke motocross engine from 2004 to 2017. This is the largest cylinder you can fit to your engine. You go from the original 78mm diameter to 85mm! However, to avoid having a cylinder skirt that's too thin and therefore likely to break quickly, VERTEX had to thicken it. In turn, you'll need to machine the crankcases so that the cylinder skirt fits easily. Nothing very complicated in itself. We advise you to take your base gasket so you can mark the material to be scratched with a marker, then take a Dremel to do the job properly. On the technical side, this cylinder is really well designed and the quality of the aluminum is excellent. The piston is graphitized to guarantee the best possible lubrication and thus extend the life of your machine as much as possible. You can of course fit it to your original cylinder head without having to modify your valves or opening times. It is of course delivered complete. It includes cylinder, complete gasket pack, piston, ring, pin and these 2 clips.
