The PROX 26.640048 countershaft seal kit is designed for YAMAHA WRF 450, YZF 450 from 2023 to 2026. Behind the countershaft sprocket, an oil seal seals around the output shaft. It runs on a bush that wears and gets scored by mud and the chain: this kit replaces the wear parts to stop the leak.

When to replace it?
- Oil on the countershaft sprocket and the crankcase.
- Gearbox oil level dropping.
- Bush scored or marked where the lip runs.
As soon as a leak appears behind the sprocket, and when changing the chain and sprockets if the bush is marked.
Fitting tips
- Remove the countershaft sprocket, then the bush and the seal, without scratching the housing.
- Oil the O-ring and the lip of the new seal.
- Press the seal in perfectly square, then fit the new bush.
- Top up the gearbox oil.
