CENTAURO Complete Engine Gasket Set - Oil Seals Not Included for YAMAHA YZ 490 1984-1988

CENTAURO offers this complete engine gasket kit for YAMAHA YZ 490 1984-1988. A full rebuild means opening the whole engine: cylinder, head, cases and covers. Every gasket removed must be replaced.

Why buy a complete engine gasket kit?

The benefits:

• One part number for the whole engine: cases, covers, cylinder and head.
• Much cheaper than buying the gaskets separately.
• Avoids the bike sitting idle for a forgotten gasket.

Why choose CENTAURO?

Centauro has made gaskets in Italy since 1958, for original equipment and the aftermarket alike, with ISO 9001-certified production.

When should you replace the gaskets on your YAMAHA YZ 490?

An oil or coolant leak, seepage around the cases or a loss of compression signal a tired gasket. Having the kit to hand means the bike is never stuck waiting for one missing gasket.

The manufacturer publishes no hour interval for this model: have the con-rod play checked at every piston change. Cross-Mania guideline: rebuild the bottom end every 2 to 3 top-end rebuilds.
