TECNIUM Engine Oil Seals Set for KTM EXC 125, SX 125 2002-2005

TECNIUM offers this engine oil seal kit for KTM EXC 125, SX 125 2002-2005. An oil seal (lip seal) is a rubber ring that seals around a rotating shaft. They are found on the crankshaft, gear shifter, water pump and output shaft.

Why replace the oil seals?

The benefits:

• Stop oil leaks around the shafts.
• On a 2-stroke, keep the crankcase sealed, which the engine needs to run properly.
• All the engine’s oil seals in one part number for a rebuild.

When should you replace the oil seals on your KTM EXC 125?

Seepage around the shaft, a dropping oil level or, on a two-stroke, an idle that creeps up on its own are warning signs. The seal is also replaced every time the cases are split.

Specifications and fitting tips

• Manufacturer part number: W.822187

Cross-Mania tip: Fit the seal square with a greased lip and check the running surface on the shaft: a worn surface quickly wears a new seal.
