PROX countershaft seal kit for KAWASAKI KDX 250, KX 250 from 1991 to 2008

PROX offers this countershaft seal kit for KAWASAKI KDX 250, KX 250 from 1991 to 2008. The front sprocket drives the chain. Its shaft passes through the case and an oil seal (often with a bush) keeps the oil in.

Why replace this seal?

The benefits:

• Stop an oil leak behind the sprocket.
• Protect the gearbox from running low on oil.

Why choose PROX?

ProX, the Dutch engine-parts specialist since 1975, has its parts made in factories that also supply the manufacturers: OEM quality at a more affordable price.

When should you replace this part?

Seepage around the shaft, a dropping oil level or, on a two-stroke, an idle that creeps up on its own are warning signs. The seal is also replaced every time the cases are split.

Specifications and fitting tips

• Application: Countershaft
• Designed as an upgrade over OEM parts

Cross-Mania tip: Fit the seal square with a greased lip and check the running surface on the shaft: a worn surface quickly wears a new seal.
