PROX Engine Oil Seal Kit for HUSQVARNA CR 125, WR 125 1998-2013

The PROX 42.6202 engine oil seal kit is designed for HUSQVARNA CR 125, WR 125 from 1998 to 2013. Oil seals (or lip seals) seal around the shafts that come out of the engine: crankshaft, countershaft, gear shift shaft, kick-start or water pump. On a two-stroke, the crankshaft seals also keep the bottom end airtight, which it needs in order to run.

When to replace it?

• Oil around the countershaft sprocket, the gear shift shaft or the kick-start.
• On a two-stroke: unstable idle, hanging revs or a drop in the gearbox oil level.
• Lip hardened or split, or shaft marked where the seal runs.

Every time the crankcases are split, and as soon as a leak appears.

Fitting tips

1. Drive out the old seal without scratching its housing.
2. Lightly grease the lip and the housing.
3. Press the seal in perfectly square with a tube or socket of the same diameter, lip facing the oil side.
4. Protect the lip from the splines or keyways as you slide the shaft through (adhesive tape).
