PROX Clutch Slave Cylinder Rebuild Kit for KTM, HUSABERG and HUSQVARNA 2006-2016

The PROX 16.950000 clutch slave cylinder rebuild kit is designed for KTM EXC 250, EXC 300, SX 250, HUSQVARNA TC 250, TE 250, TE 300 and HUSABERG FE 350, TE 250, TE 300 from 2006 to 2016. On a hydraulic clutch, the slave cylinder pushes the rod that disengages the clutch. Its seals wear: fluid leaks, air gets into the system and the clutch feels spongy or slips. This kit replaces the slave cylinder seals.

When to replace it?

• Fluid leaking from the slave cylinder, on the engine side.
• Spongy lever or an engagement point that keeps changing.
• Clutch that doesn't disengage properly with the engine hot.

As soon as a leak appears or the lever turns spongy despite bleeding.

Fitting tips

1. Clean the slave cylinder before opening it so that no dirt gets in.
2. Replace all the seals in the kit, lubricated with the fluid specified by the manufacturer.
3. Refill and bleed the system with the specified fluid (mineral oil or DOT fluid depending on the system), and never mix the two.
