The REKLUSE RadiusX RMS-8313086 clutch is designed for KTM EXC 250, EXC 300, SX 250, HUSQVARNA TC 250, TE 250, TE 300 and GAS GAS EC 250, EC 300 from 2017 to 2023. A Rekluse automatic clutch engages and disengages on its own according to engine rpm, thanks to wedges that spread apart under centrifugal force. The result: no more stalling, even when you lock the rear wheel with the brake, and much better traction in technical sections.

Who is it for?

Good to know

Check the clutch install gap before every ride: incorrect adjustment wears the clutch prematurely. Use a JASO MA or MA2 oil, never a JASO MB oil or a car oil.

Fitting tips

1. Soak the plates in oil for at least 5 minutes before fitting them.
2. Never fit the clutch in a basket with notched slots.
3. Fit a new clutch cover gasket.
4. Set the install gap at the lever with the engine warm, following the Rekluse instructions.
5. Break-in: rev the engine 10 times in neutral, make 10 gentle pull-aways in 1st and 10 in 2nd, then recheck the gap. Never pull away in 3rd.

Do you keep engine braking?
Yes, as long as the clutch is correctly adjusted.

Can you bump-start the bike?
Not by simply rolling it as with a conventional clutch: you first have to close the gap on the adjuster, as explained in the instructions.
