PROX Clutch Spring Kit for FANTIC XE 125, XX 125 and YAMAHA YZ 125 2022-2026

On FANTIC XE 125, XX 125 and YAMAHA YZ 125 from 2022 to 2026, the PROX 17.CS22061 clutch spring kit fits in place of the original part. A slipping clutch doesn't always need new plates: tired springs are enough to make it slip. This kit replaces all the springs at once.

When to replace it?

• Clutch slipping even though the plates are within spec.
• Spring free length below the minimum given in the manual (measured with a vernier caliper).

Every time you change the plates, or as soon as the free length falls below the minimum.

Fitting tips

1. Replace all the springs together for even pressure.
2. Tighten the bolts gradually, in a criss-cross pattern, to the manufacturer's torque.
3. Take the opportunity to check the friction plates and the steel plates.
4. Close up with a new clutch cover gasket.

Springs to OEM spec restore the original lever effort. Heavy-duty springs, on the other hand, make the lever slightly stiffer.
