      PROX offers these clutch springs for KTM SX 450, SX 505, SXF 450, SXF 505, XCF 505 and HONDA CR 500 1990-2012. The springs push on the pressure plate to clamp the plates together. With heat they lose strength and the clutch starts to slip.

      When should you replace the clutch springs?

      Measure the friction plate thickness and the spring free length: below the manufacturer's minimum they must be replaced. Blued or warped steel plates are replaced too.
