      BARNETT offers these clutch springs for HONDA FX 650 VIGOR, NX 650 DOMINATOR, SLR 650, XL 600 LM PARIS DAKAR, XR 600 1983-2000. The springs push on the pressure plate to clamp the plates together. With heat they lose strength and the clutch starts to slip.

      When should you replace the clutch springs on your HONDA XR 600?

      Measure the friction plate thickness and the spring free length: below the manufacturer's minimum they must be replaced. Blued or warped steel plates are replaced too.
