      HINSON offers these clutch springs for HONDA CR 500, CRF 450, CRF 450 RWE, CRF 450 RX ENDURO 1990-2026. The springs push on the pressure plate to clamp the plates together. With heat they lose strength and the clutch starts to slip.

      When should you replace the clutch springs on your HONDA CR 500?

      Measure the friction plate thickness and the spring free length: below the manufacturer's minimum they must be replaced. Blued or warped steel plates are replaced too.
