The gasket that seals the clutch cover: replace it every time the cover comes off to avoid oil leaks.
CENTAURO offers this clutch cover gasket for YAMAHA IT 250, IT 490, WR 500, YZ 490 1981-1993. The clutch cover closes the right-hand side of the engine, where the clutch and often the oil or water pump sit.
Why replace this gasket every time it is removed?
The benefits:
- A new gasket guarantees a perfectly sealed joint.
- Material designed to withstand heat, oil and coolant.
- An inexpensive part that saves doing the job twice.
Why choose CENTAURO?
Centauro has made gaskets in Italy since 1958, for original equipment and the aftermarket alike, with ISO 9001-certified production.
When should you replace the gasket on your YAMAHA YZ 490?
Oil seeping around the cover or a leak after reassembly show it needs replacing: a crushed gasket never seals properly again.
