HINSON Steel Clutch Plates KIt for KAWASAKI KX 450, KX 450 X, KXF 450 2021-2027

HINSON offers this clutch steel plate kit for KAWASAKI KX 450, KX 450 X, KXF 450 2021-2027. The clutch is a stack of plates: friction plates and plain steel plates. When you release the lever, the springs squeeze them together and the engine drives the gearbox.

Why replace the steel plates?

The benefits:

• Get rid of slipping and grabbing.
• Restore a progressive clutch.
• Flat, healthy plates make the friction plates last.

Why choose HINSON?

Hinson Billetproof clutch parts are machined from solid T6 aluminium in the USA and hard-coated; according to Hinson, the hub and pressure plate resist wear up to 5 times better than stock.

When should you replace the clutch plates on your KAWASAKI KX 450?

Measure the friction plate thickness and the spring free length: below the manufacturer's minimum they must be replaced. Blued or warped steel plates are replaced too.
