The clutch plates covered with friction material that pass the engine’s power to the gearbox.

NEWFREN offers this clutch friction plate kit for HUSQVARNA FC 350, FC 450, FE 250, FE 350, FE 450, GAS GAS EC 250, EC 300, ECF 250, ECF 350, MCF 450 and HUSABERG FE 450 IE, FE 501 1995-2025. Friction plates alternate with the steel plates. Their lining wears at every start and gear change; once too thin, it no longer grips and the clutch slips.

Why replace the friction plates?

The benefits:

Stop the clutch slipping.
Get back a progressive, easy-to-modulate clutch.
An economical clutch refresh.

Why choose NEWFREN?

Newfren, the Turin-based Italian brake and clutch specialist, develops its friction materials with Superbike, Moto3 and MXGP teams.

When should you replace the clutch plates?

Measure the friction plate thickness and the spring free length: below the manufacturer's minimum they must be replaced. Blued or warped steel plates are replaced too.
