On FANTIC XE 125, XX 125 and YAMAHA YZ 125 from 2005 to 2027, the WISECO WWPP3032 clutch basket fits in place of the original part. Every time the clutch bites, the plate tabs hammer against the basket slots. A notched basket stops the plates from sliding freely: the clutch becomes snatchy and hard to modulate.

      Specifications

      • Brand: WISECO
      • Manufacturer part number: WWPP3032
      • Weight: 680 g
      • Engine: 2-stroke

      When to replace it?

      • Notches worn into the basket slots.
      • Clutch that judders or snags, inconsistent lever feel.
      • Play or noise at the basket cushions.

Check the basket every time you change the plates; replace it as soon as the slots are notched.

      Fitting tips

      1. Check the basket bushing or needle bearing and the primary drive gear.
      2. Keep the original washer order.
      3. Hold the inner hub with a suitable tool and tighten the nut to the manufacturer's torque, with its lock washer.
      4. Fit friction plates in good condition and a new clutch cover gasket.

      Why WISECO?

Wiseco forges and machines its pistons in Mentor, Ohio (USA), using forging tooling made in-house. A benchmark for forged motorcycle parts, the brand also produces valves, clutch baskets and clutch plates.

      Frequently asked questions

Can you file the notches down?
