AFAM offers this drive chain for HM CRE 50, CRE 50 BAJA, CRE 50 DERAPAGE, CRE 50 DERAPAGE RR, CRE 50 SIX DERAPAGE COMPETITION, KAWASAKI KX 100, KX 80, KX 85, HONDA CR 80, CR 85, CRF 100, CRF 125, XR 100 and YAMAHA TY 125, TY 175, XTZ 125, YZ 80, YZ 85 1976-2027. The engine turns a small front sprocket, and the chain links it to the large rear sprocket fixed to the rear wheel.

Why replace the chain?

The benefits:

Smooth drive that sends all of the engine’s power to the wheel.
An O-ring chain (small rubber rings) keeps its grease inside and wears more slowly.
A chain without seals is lighter and runs more freely but needs more maintenance: a common choice in motocross.

When should you replace the chain?

A chain that has stretched too far, with stiff links or torn O-rings, is replaced along with both sprockets.
