The plastic slider that protects the swingarm from the rubbing of the chain.
RACETECH offers this chain slider for KAWASAKI KX 250, KXF 250, KXF 450 2016-2019. The swingarm is the part that connects the rear wheel to the frame. At the front, near its pivot, the chain runs right against it and rubs, especially when the suspension compresses: the slider, made of tough plastic, takes this wear instead of the swingarm.
Why replace the chain slider?
The benefits:
- The chain rubs on an inexpensive wear part, not on the swingarm.
- A better guided, quieter chain.
- Replace it with the chain kit for a completely fresh drive train.
When should you replace this part?
As soon as the chain has worn through to the swingarm or the slider is split.
