PROX Chain Roller for HONDA CRF 450 2002-2009

On HONDA CRF 450 from 2002 to 2009, the PROX 33.0007 chain roller fits in place of the original part. The roller guides the chain and limits chain slap, on the frame or the swingarm depending on the bike. It turns with the chain instead of rubbing, which cuts down on wear and noise.

Specifications

• Brand: PROX
• Manufacturer part number: 33.0007

When to replace it?

• Roller grooved, oval or cracked.
• Seized bearing: the roller no longer turns.

Check it every time you service the chain: a seized roller gets grooved very quickly and wears the chain.

Fitting tips

1. Compare the new roller with the old one: diameter, width and axle must match.
2. Fit it with its spacers in the same order and tighten the axle bolt to the manufacturer's torque.
3. Check that it turns freely and that the chain runs through the centre.

Why PROX?

ProX Racing Parts has been supplying engine and clutch parts to motocross riders since 1975, from its headquarters near Amsterdam. According to its catalogue, most of its parts are made in Japan, by manufacturers that also produce parts for the Japanese motorcycle makers.
