EK CHAIN 530 DRZ2 Connecting Link - Rivet

EK CHAIN offers this chain master link. A drive chain forms a loop: to fit it, you wrap it round the front and rear sprockets, then join the two ends with the master link.

Why a new master link?

The benefits:

• A new master link with every new chain or after opening the chain: its clip and seals are not made to be used twice.
• Rivet-type link: the most secure hold for powerful engines and hard use; clip-type link: the easiest to fit and remove.
• With a chain breaker, a spare master link lets you repair a broken chain out on the trail.

When should you replace this part?

A bent or missing clip, damaged O-rings, a stiff or rusty link: replace the master link, and never reuse one that has been riveted.
