AFAM 520XLR2 14/42 Standard Chain Kit - Standard Sprocket for the 1982–1987 Suzuki DR S 250

AFAM offers a 520-pitch chain kit for the SUZUKI DR S 250cc, consisting of a standard XLR2 chain with X-Ring seals, a 14-tooth steel sprocket, and a standard 42-tooth rear sprocket. The X-Ring seals help maintain lubrication at the joints and reduce internal friction, which promotes more even wear and extends the chain’s service life. The standard sprocket prioritizes mechanical strength and durability to withstand the stresses of the drivetrain. The 14/42 configuration corresponds to a relatively long gear ratio, geared more toward cruising than acceleration, depending on the motorcycle’s original gear ratio. The steel sprocket ensures precise engagement with the chain and effectively withstands the forces transmitted by the engine. This set thus provides a complete solution for upgrading the drivetrain of a compatible motorcycle, prioritizing reliability, precision, and durability.
