AFAM 520MR2 13/48 Standard Chain Kit - Hard-Anodized Ultra-Light Sprocket for 1987–1989 KTM GS LC 125

AFAM offers a 520-pitch chain kit for the KTM 125 GS LC 125cc, including a standard MR2 chain without seals, a 13-tooth steel sprocket, and a 48-tooth Ultra-Light aluminum sprocket with hard anodizing. The chain’s chrome-plated pins and forged rollers contribute to its mechanical strength and ensure smooth operation under repeated stress. The aluminum sprocket reduces the weight of the rear drivetrain compared to a steel sprocket, while its hard-anodized finish enhances its resistance to friction and wear. The 13/48 configuration offers a balanced compromise for compatible motorcycles between acceleration responsiveness and gear ratio range, depending on the original gear ratio. The steel sprocket ensures precise engagement with the chain and effectively withstands the forces transmitted by the engine. This kit thus allows you to replace the drivetrain with a seamless assembly that combines lightness, durability, and smooth operation.
