The PROX 520 or 07.RC520120CG drive chain is a universal part. Between the engine and the rear wheel, the chain takes every acceleration. A tired chain stretches, wears the sprockets and ends up jumping off or snapping: it's a major wear part.
Replace the chain when the adjusters reach the end of their travel or as soon as it has tight spots, and always together with the front and rear sprockets if they're worn.
ProX Racing Parts has been supplying engine and clutch parts to motocross riders since 1975, from its headquarters near Amsterdam. According to its catalogue, most of its parts are made in Japan, by manufacturers that also produce parts for the Japanese motorcycle makers.
Sealed or non-sealed chain?
An O-ring or X-ring chain keeps its grease inside and lasts longer. A non-sealed chain has less friction and is still popular in motocross, but needs lubing more often.
Should the sprockets be changed?
If they're worn, yes: a new chain running on a worn front sprocket and rear sprocket gets damaged very quickly.
