RACETECH Chain Roller Ø42 mm

The RACETECH chain roller. The roller guides the chain and limits chain slap, on the frame or the swingarm depending on the bike. It turns with the chain instead of rubbing, which cuts down on wear and noise.

Choosing the colour

Check the dimensions first (outside diameter, width, axle diameter): after that, the colour is a styling choice.

When to replace it?

• Roller grooved, oval or cracked.
• Seized bearing: the roller no longer turns.

Check it every time you service the chain: a seized roller gets grooved very quickly and wears the chain.

Fitting tips

1. Compare the new roller with the old one: diameter, width and axle must match.
2. Fit it with its spacers in the same order and tighten the axle bolt to the manufacturer's torque.
3. Check that it turns freely and that the chain runs through the centre.
