DRAPER brake tool

DRAPER offers this brake tool. The bike’s brakes work with a fluid that carries the pressure from the lever to the caliper pistons.

Why a brake tool?

The benefits:

• Vacuum or air-powered bleeder: the fluid flows one way only, without drawing air back in, and one person can do the job.
• Bottle with hose and non-return valve: the old fluid is collected cleanly, away from the paint and the discs.
• Piston tool with a wide contact face: the pistons go back straight, without tilting or damaging their seals.

Why choose DRAPER?

Draper is a British family business founded in 1919 by Bert Draper in Kingston upon Thames, based since 1963 in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, and run by the family for three generations. Its catalogue lists more than 11,000 hand, power and automotive tools and workshop equipment items.

When should you replace this tool?

A hardened or split hose, a nozzle that no longer seals on the bleed screw, a leaking non-return valve, marked piston tool jaws: replace the part concerned, otherwise air gets into the system.
